For Building Fast, Powerful Tracks
Track Actuator
This robotic actuator is specifically designed to be used for robots that perform in robust mobile manipulation applications. HEBI Track Actuators are sealed to IP54 and are compatible with the HEBI Robotics Platform for robot development. Example HEBI solutions that employ the new track actuator include an in-pipe crawler and a magnetic crawler.
Each actuator integrates a brushless motor, gear reduction, encoders, and control electronics into a compact package that runs on anything from 24V-48V DC and communicates using standard 100Mbps Ethernet. This configuration keeps the overall robotic system lightweight, low-power, simple, and safe.
Ruggedized for Wet and Dirty Environments
R-Series Actuator®
HEBI’s R-Series allows engineers and industrial integrators to quickly create custom robots that can be deployed directly into wet, dirty, or outdoor environments. The R-Series offers all of the benefits of the X-Series, along with a sealed robotics solution for rugged, industrial applications.
Each R-Series Actuator® is sealed to IP67 and designed with a lightweight form factor that allows them to be used in challenging field applications. They are packed with sensors that enable simultaneous control of position, velocity, and torque as well as three-axis inertial measurement.
Each actuator integrates a brushless motor, gear reduction, force-sensing, encoders, and control electronics into a compact package that runs on anything from 24V-48V DC and communicates using standard 100Mbps Ethernet. This, along with an internal pressure sensor, keeps the overall robotic system lightweight, low-power, simple, and safe.
R-Series Actuators are now available in “R+” configurations, which offer greater speeds, torque, and improved geartrain lifetime as compared with legacy R8-Series. Legacy R8-Series will be available at a discounted price while supplies last.

For Indoor Use
T-Series Actuator™
HEBI Robotics' T-Series Actuators® allow engineers, researchers, and industrial integrators to quickly and easily create custom, world-class robots of any configuration. These professional-grade actuators are packed with sensors that enable simultaneous control of position, velocity, and torque as well as three axis inertial measurement.
Each module is a series-elastic actuator that integrates a brushless motor, geartrain, spring, encoders, and control electronics into a compact package that runs on anything from 24V to 48V DC and communicates using standard 10/100Mbps Ethernet.
The T-Series Actuator® is designed to function as a full-featured robotic component as opposed to a simple servo motor. The output rotates continuously, requires no calibration or homing on boot-up, and contains a thru-bore for easy daisy-chaining and wiring. The modules can be used in everything from wheeled robots to multi-degree-of-freedom, collaborative robotic arms.
Now available are the T25 Actuators purpose-built for projects that require more mechanical power. The T25 Actuators are bigger, stronger and faster than T5s and T8s with improved current sensing and low-level control. Drivetrain improvements allow for easier backdriving and more durability.
T-Series Actuators are available in “T+” configurations, which offer greater speeds, torque, and improved geartrain lifetime as compared with legacy T8-Series. Legacy T8-Series will be available at a discounted price while supplies last.
T5-Series Actuators are not yet available in “T+” configurations. We are offering T5-Series at a a discount while we work through stock of legacy parts. T5-Series will be available in “T+” configurations soon.
Torque and Precision for Challenging Field Environments
H-Series Actuator®
HEBI’s H-Series provides unmatched versatility, precision, and torque to create custom robots that tolerate rugged, challenging environments. The H-Series is a full-featured robotic component with onboard IMU, current sensing, and over-temperature protection and not just a simple servo motor. This allows them to be used in everything from wheeled robots to collaborative robot arms.
With zero backlash and up to 140 Nm continuous torque, the H-Series was purpose-built to provide more versatility and torque while still withstanding rugged conditions. HEBI’s H-Series actuators run on anything from 24V-48V DC and communicate using standard 100Mbps Ethernet allowing for easy, flexible integration with less downtime.
Each H-Series Actuator® is sealed to IP65 and is compatible with the HEBI Robotics ecosystem for robot development, enabling the HEBI platform to tackle challenges that call for more power and precision.
Legacy
X-Series Actuator®
Introduced in 2016, HEBI’s first series-elastic X-Series actuators have been replaced by the T-Series. The T-Series build upon the capabilities of the X-Series with the following improvements:
Increased continuous torque, power, and operational lifetime
Quicker, cleaner, and easier to integrate into a robotic system
Mechanically and electrically compatible with our R-Series actuators
X-Series Support and Compatibility
All existing X-Series actuators will continue to be supported. Software and API support will continue indefinitely.
